Bought this for my 50-pound lab who destroys everything, and the IPX7 waterproofing is no joke—it survived a full dunk in his water bowl and kept going. The automatic movement switches directions on its own, which is what actually holds his attention instead of him losing interest after five minutes
Wasn't sure my lab would care about it, but the waterproof shell means I can just hose it off after he drags it through the mud. Only gripe is the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like on the higher setting.
The rolling motion got my dog chasing it right away, but the battery only lasts maybe 40 minutes before it needs a recharge. The IPX7 waterproofing held up fine when it rolled through a puddle, though.
