The Cordura-Nyco fabric is the selling point for me—it's genuinely windproof and waterproof, so I can leave it on the porch without worrying about dew. It folds up flat for the car trunk, which makes it perfect for camping trips. My shepherd claimed it immediately after the first nap.
My dog is a tornado of mud and this bed still looks brand new after two weeks of abuse, the Cordura fabric just wipes clean with a damp cloth. It folds up flat enough to stash in the backseat when we're not using it. She curls up on it the second I set it down, which says more than I ever could.
Took this on a weeklong camping trip and the Cordura fabric shrugged off mud, morning dew, and a pretty determined digger. Folds down small enough to strap to my pack, and my lab was asleep on it within minutes of setting up camp.
